Morning Announcements – April 3rd, 2012

Apr. 3 Attention Potential Grade 12 Grads:  Cap & gown order forms are available in the main office – these must be filled in & returned to the main office with $25.00 ASAP.  If you’re not planning to attend the ceremony, you still need to fill in a form.  If you are attending the grad ceremony, a cap & gown must be ordered & worn.
Apr. 3 The DHS Ambassadors are going to England next year.  If you are interested in going, please bring a parent to the information meetings being held in the DHS Library tonight and April 5th at 6:30 p.m.  To see pictures from the recent trip to Portugal please go to dhsambassadors.ca
Apr. 3 If you are interested in spending a week in Ottawa exploring the city, areas of interest to you and making new friends from all over the country – all at an affordable price, stop by room 211 after block D anytime this week and talk to Ms. Rosaasen for more information about attending Encounters With Canada in Ottawa.
Apr. 3 Brochures & information pamphlets are in the Phys. Ed. office for anybody interested in going to various summer camps for sports this summer.
Apr. 3 Attention all girls hockey players grades 9 through 12.  The Confederation College Thunderhawks Women’s Hockey team will be holding a prospects camp on Saturday, April 7 at the Dryden Arena.  For more information please come to the main office.
Apr. 3 A reminder to Grade 12 students to check out the latest bursaries and scholarships at dhseagles.com then click on the guidance tab.
Apr. 3 The Grad photographer will return to DHS April 4th and 5th.  Sign up for retakes or if you have not had your picture taken yet.  This will be your last chance to have grad pics done at DHS.
Apr. 3 Grade 12 Cosmetology will be offering $5 Tuesdays.  Eyebrow Waxing or Bang Trims.  Please make an appointment – Cosmetology Room 124A.  Walk in welcomed until 11:45 on Tuesdays.
Apr. 3 For a limited time, Grade 12 Cosmetology Students are selling flat irons and curling irons.  Place an order with Grade 12 Cosmo student or see Mrs. Durocher in room 124A.
Apr. 3 There will be a University of Waterloo meeting today at  11:30 in room 210.   This is for all those students who have been on the trip with Mrs. Ambridge & for those grades 9 & 10’s interested in traveling May 5 – 12 this year.
