May 30 The honor roll students will be called out of class Pd. 2, 15 minutes before the bell rings so they can start heading over to the Centre.
May 30 Any students that are not using their netbooks, chrome books or books, please start returning them to the Library.
May 30 Reminder to grade 11 and 12 students that there will be a Safe Grad meeting on tomorrow @ 6:00 pm in the high school library.  Grad 11’s are invited to start preparing for next year.  Please bring your parents or guardian.
May 30 Potential Grads – the grand march tickets are now available to be picked up in the main office.
May 30 Summer school options are open for registration!  You have an opportunity to take coop, paid coop, independent study, and French immersion courses.  If you have already signed up for Civics and Careers this summer, you must pick up a registration letter in the Guidance office.  Please come to Guidance for more information.
May 30… If you are interested in taking a dual credit course this summer in either welding or digital photography, please sign up in the Guidance Office.  If you complete this course you will get a high school and a college credit!
May 30 2017 Grads, if you are interested in Safe Grad driving for the upcoming year (starting June 1st) please contact Carmen Moody via Facebook or text 938-7522. Upcoming driving events will be posted on the DHS Safe Grad 2016 Facebook group, for the time being, so pls join this group. In order to make this fundraiser successful for your grad we need your support.
May 30 The gym will be open Monday, Tuesday & Friday from 12-12:25.
May 30 If you are looking for volunteer hours, the Amesdale Cemetery Committee is having a work day on Sunday, June 12th beginning at 9:00 am. Please see the Guidance Office for more information.
May 30 Lakehead University is offering “fast pass” to students who will be attending there this fall.  This is a pre-orientation program designed to help incoming students learn about course registration, program details and university life.  For more information and dates, please visit the Guidance Office.
