Mon. Dec 3rd Announcements/Reminders

Dec 3 Volunteers are needed to help at this week’s movie at The Centre on Thursday, December 6th at 6:15 pm.  Volunteers can help with tickets and cleanup, and watch a movie for free.  Please sign up in the Guidance office.
Dec 3 Grad photos will be on February 5, 6 & 7.  The Lifetouch website will be available to book online in January after the Christmas break.  You must book online @ www.lifetouch.ca/tbay to reserve a time for your photos.
Dec 3 The girl’s hockey team won a silver medal in Portage over the weekend.  The team swept through the round robin before losing in the final to T.A.  The girls will look to avenge the game when they host the Saints on Tuesday at 6:30 pm.
Dec 3 In a special event to support the family of Ben Hackl, the boy’s hockey team faces off against the T.A. Saints tonight at 7:00 pm. Proceeds from the door, donations and door prizes will assist Ben’s family who recently lost their father.  Come cheer on the Eagles while doing a good deed.
Dec 3 Students who signed up to work court sport games are reminded to check the schedule on the Phys Ed office window.  Games start at home this Thursday.
Dec 3 It’s that time of year.   Time to audition for the school Musical.   Come one and Come all and audition to be part of this year’s production of Mary Poppins.   This play has a large cast with a variety of roles.   So grab your umbrella, a spoon full of sugar, and let’s go fly a kite while you get ready to be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.   Sign up and information can be found outside of the drama room.
Dec 3 The Eagle’s Nest Annual Christmas Parent Shopping Night will be this Friday from 3:30 – 6 p.m.  An opportunity to stock up on some amazing Eagles wear!
Dec 3 Exciting News!  The DHS Yearbook Team is putting out a double issue 18/19 & 17/18 yearbook this year.  If you purchase one, it will be in your hands around June 10th of this school year!  The cost is $25 and must be paid by December 14.  If you paid your student fees in 2017/18 you will receive a yearbook.  If you are unsure if you paid your student fees check with the main office.  Yearbooks must be prepaid as they cannot be purchased after they arrive, and are not available online.
