Health Care Students participate in casting clinic

As the semester wraps up, students from the Grade 11 Health Care course got their final visit to the Dryden Regional Health Centre, this time getting very hands on by participating in a casting clinic.  Students from the course have been to the hospital for multiple visits this year, covering topics such as fractures, triage, lab work, laser therapy and career education.  Students in the course also received their emergency CPR Certification by taking part in a 1 day certification November 19.  In the photo, you can see Student Krissy Halverson applying a cast to the arm of Shelby Tourond with NOSM student Ben Stride-Darnley in the background.
