EXPERIENCE ONTARIO CAREER COACHING

EXPERIENCE ONTARIO CAREER COACHING

DHS grade 12 potential grads – not sure of a career path?  We have some help and support for you.  Experience Ontario is a program, contracted to Northwest Employment Works (N.E.W.) designed to help high school graduates who have an interest in attending post secondary education or apprenticeship training, but who need help to choose their career direction and appropriate path with greater certainty and confidence. The program provides a combination of career and post secondary exploration opportunities, career coaching, and support applying to PSE including having application fees paid to college or university, or having the Ontario College of Trades first year membership fees paid for apprentices.  This opportunity is limited to 20  potential grad students that represent a cross section of DHS students pathways and demographics.

The first step is for a student that thinks this will help them is to see a DHS guidance counselor to sign up and then participate in a conference which will be held Thursday, October 19th at the Dryden Best Western.  Individual one on one career coaching will follow the conference for those students committed in the process.
