Eagles Playoff Hockey Results

A pair of overtime games for the Eagles Hockey teams tonight in NorWOSSA playoff action.

In girls hockey, the Fort Frances Muskies head home with a 1-0 series lead after a 3-2 OT win tonight.

Ashley Kropelin opened up scoring for the Eagles in the first assisted by Reid and Wesley.

The Muskies then answered with two goals and the Eagles trailed for most of the third period. A late in the third Muskies penalty made it an Eagles powerplay. With around 30 seconds left Martina Wintle found the net assisted by Church and Reid.

After about a minute and a half of the OT period the Muskies knocked the puck in giving them the win.

The girls next travel to Fort Frances for game 2 on Sunday at 2:45.

The Boys Eagles traveled to Kenora to face the Broncos.

After three scoreless periods of play the Broncos scored 53 seconds into the sudden death overtime.

The Eagles are back in Dryden on Sunday at 3:30 for game 2.
