The junior girls’ volleyball
team moved into 1st place yesterday after a 2-1 win over Sioux
North. The senior girls also collected a win, there by a 2-0 margin.
In basketball, the junior
boys got 15 points from Dom Morriseau and 11 from Ethan cook on the way
to a 62-43 win. Luke Turcotte poured in 26 for the seniors but the
team could not overcome the Warriors.

Julia Jones notched 2 goals and Megan
Lundmark & Kiya Fenwick added 1 each as The Eagles hockey team
took TA to overtime in Kenora yesterday. In boy’s action, The Saint handed
DHS a loss as well.

The
Dryden Native Friendship Centre is looking for student volunteers to join
them in February for a gym night program.

are tryouts in Kenora this weekend for those interested in Aboriginal Team
Ontario. Girls and boys basketball & volleyball players can compete later
