Adventure in Agriculture 2011
The Rotary Club Presents:
Adventure in Agriculture 2011 in Regina from November 23 – 27, 2011.
The program is aimed towards senior high school students interested in agriculture and is designed to help broaden knowledge and understanding of the multi-faceted agricultural sector, environmental issues and the challenge of providing food for the world.
Selected students will participate in tours, presentations and networking with agribusiness leaders. Attend one day at the Canadian Western Agribition with Rodeo included. Be assigned an agricultural topic to research and speak about. Participate in an in depth forum discussion on the subject “Are present Agricultural practices environmentally sustainable?”
Registration is $275 and travel to and from Regina is paid by local Rotary Clubs. Meals and accommodation are provided by the Rotary Club of Regina Eastview and Industry Partners.
Interested students are asked to contact the guidance office before October 22, 2011.
