May 8 Information for those students in their final year at DHS and going on to study Biology, Environmental Studies, or Environmental Engineering.

The IISD – Experimental Lakes Area is offering one $500.00 bursary.  Please visit the guidance office to learn about this opportunity.  The deadline to apply is Monday, May 14th.

 

The Dryden Rotary Club is again offering to send several students from Dryden High School to RYLA – the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camps this summer.  The camps are available to students from 12-17 years of age.   Please visit the Guidance office for more information.

May 8 Final School year school council Presentation & Meeting will be on Thursday, May 10 at 6 pm DHS Library.  Presentation from Rainbow Alliance of Dryden.
May 8 There are numerous volunteer opportunities to earn your hours. The Dryden Regional Health Centre is always looking for volunteers (call Amy @ 216-9230 or Brenda @ 223-8201 ext. 1273), Cody Fedorchuk with the City of Dryden Police is requiring assistant to clean out an animal shelter (call 223-1137 ext. 6008). Please come to the office or the Guidance office for contact information.
May 8 From now until the end of the school year there will be weekly yoga sessions EVERY Thursday in the Drama Room starting at 11:45 am.  Come on out and bring a friend!  Mats are available or you can bring your own.
May 8 If there are any students at Dryden High who have a parent or guardian who is a member of Carpenters’ District Council of Ontario Local Union 1669 would they please go to the guidance office regarding funds that may be available to you?
