Number of Jewish People in European Countries

On January 20th, 1942 the Wannsee conference was held in a suburb of Berlin. Here, senior members of the Nazi government, including judges, met along with the SS to implement the Final Solution to the Jewish problem.

The meeting was remarkable in that the people who attended this meeting were highly educated individuals planning to murder every Jewish person in Europe.

Reinhard Heydrich described how the Jewish people throughout European occupied countries would be transported to Poland for the most efficient mass execution.

Finally, the determination of who was formally Jewish was determined.

Below is an image of the document that was circulated and listed the number of Jewish people in each European country.
