Attendance Dryden Continuation School. 1927-1928
Here is the Registrar of Attendance for Dryden Continuation School for the period from September 1927 until June
1928. Only the month of September is scanned. The attendance was manually
entered every day.
Dryden Continutation School existed from 1912 until 1922 in a church
located at the present location of the Dryden Public Library. DCS was moved to the building that presently houses the
town municipal offices in 1922. In 1935 DCS became a high school with the offering of Grade 13 and having
qualified teachers.
Many of the names found in the registrar are of long term Dryden families such as Minnie (Reid) Horne and Edna (Taylor) Wilson.
Both of these women lived until their 100th year. Edna passed away in 2010
and Minnie passed away in 2011.
