Bill Hill

Bill Hill served with the Canadian Armed forces from 2004 until 2005.

Here is Bill with an action figure that many soldiers carried with them in their luggage

Bill often drove the officers (Colonels and Generals) between Kabul and Kandahar.

As a result of the constant driving that he did, he got to really know the many roads and routes in Afghanistan.

Though Bill never saw live combat, he said that he always arrived "five minutes before or left five minutes after anything happened."

Bill really enjoyed his job and performed it honourably

Some of the locals had respect for the foreign soldiers, others displayed hostility towards the Canadian and other foreign soldiers.

After his service in Afghanistan, Bill put his name in for tours in Bosnia and other foreign hotspots.
