Amanda was born, raised and educated in Dryden
Amanda served from 2003 till 2007 in the Communications Branch as a Signal Operator. After basic training, and trades training she was posted to First Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group, HeadQuarters in Edmonton. She deployed with the Headquarters Squadron to Kandahar, Afghanistan in 2006 for 9 months where Amanda was employed in the Tactical Operations Centre as a radio operator. For her efforts on that tour she was awarded a Commander's Commendation.
Amanda graduated from Dryden High School in 2011.
