To most people the Holocaust is a faceless, nameless event of the past.

The statistics state that between four and nine million people were killed in the concentration camps

It was Joseph Stalin who said that "the death one is a tragedy, the death of millions is a statistic".

We must be continually reminded of the the Holocaust and there have been many Genocides since World War II: Cambodia, Bosnia, Rwanda and currently in Syria where approximately 300,000 people have been murdered during the past five years

Here are the life stories of two individuals who lived and were murdered during the Holocaust
