Morning Announcements – Tuesday, January 14th, 2014

Jan. 14 – 31 The Centre will be having the Blackie and Rodeo King events on Feb. 4th and they are looking for 2 volunteers to assist at the Sponsorship table.

Volunteers must be 16 years or over and will also be able to see the show.   Please come to the office for more information.

Jan 14 There will be a free lunch in Room 124B today.  This is the last lunch this semester and everyone is welcome to come.
Jan 14 Co-op students for next semester are to have their applications handed into Mrs. Brickman at the attendance desk today.
Jan 14 The University of Winnipeg is hosting the High School Enrichment Program from April 29 – May 2.  Interested students please stop by the guidance office for more information.
Jan 14 The Northwest Catholic District School Board is preparing to run the Grade 10 Religious Education eLearning course.  This course is open to all high school students.  There are no prerequisites and it is worth 1 high school credit.  For more information stop by the guidance office.
Jan 14 Yearbooks can be picked up at the office.
Jan 14 Grade 12 students applying to universities and colleges outside of Ontario MUST let the guidance office know, or your transcripts will not be sent. Also, please remember to check the DHS website and the binder in the guidance office on a regular basis for the latest scholarships and bursaries.

Morning Announcements – Monday, January 13th

Jan 13 (am only) Students who missed Mrs. Lotze’s biology end task on Friday are reminded that they must come to room 113 at lunch today to catch up on what the missed.  If you are missing class today because of sports or are unable to come at lunch, you must see Mrs. Lotze today to make alternate arrangements.
Jan. 13 (am only) GSA and OSAID will begin again in February.  Meetings are going to be held regularly at the start of Semester 2.
Jan 13 – 14 Co-op students for next semester are to have their applications handed into Mrs. Brickman at the attendance desk by Tuesday so interviews can be set up.
Jan 13 – am Senior boy’s volleyball players please stop by the main office to return your uniforms and to pick up team photo’s at lunch today.

Morning Announcements – Friday, January 10th, 2014

Jan 10 The Eagles wrestling team will be selling pizza today outside the big gym at 11:45, so help support the wrestling team and buy a piece of pizza. All volunteers helping with today’s wrestling tournament are to meet at the big gym at 11:30.  Also Mr. Walsh still needs volunteers for a couple of hours on Saturday.  You can see him in room 109 if interested.
Jan 10 Attention students.  Do you want to get in shape or stay in shape for spring sports?  Students interested in indoor winter strength training for Eagles Track &Field or any other spring sport are invited to sign up todayat 11:45 in room 138.   Come on out and get in the best shape of your life.
