The KPDSB is conducting a survey to determine start and end dates for the upcoming school year as well as placement of PD days.
We invite you to complete a short (2 question) survey regarding the upcoming school year calendar.
September 19, 2013
Work is currently underway for the development of the 2014-2015 school year calendar and we felt it was important to ask you, the families of our students, for your preferences on start and end dates for the upcoming school year, as well as the scheduling of PD days.
We hope that you can take a couple minutes to answer a short survey (two questions), available through our Board website at www.kpdsb.on.ca indicating your preferences so we can take them to the Regional School Year Calendar Committee (comprised of five area school boards including the KPDSB). The survey will be available until midnight on Sunday, September 29, 2013.
We know how important the link between home and school is and we want to assure our families that your input is invaluable to many of the decisions we make at the Board and school level. We are asking you as a critical stakeholder in our system, and will take your feedback as a direction in the design of next year’s school year calendar.
It is our hope to involve you in as many aspects of your child’s education as possible and we thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
