DHS Bus Cancellation due to Freezing Rain Warning

Please be advised that school bus transportation has been cancelled for the Dryden/Vermilion Bay areas for Tuesday, March 27th.

The area is under a “Freezing Rain Warning” with temperatures expected to drop before daybreak and with wind speeds increasing.  In some areas the roads remain wet while others are getting the freezing rain now.   We are concerned that the buses will be dispatched and conditions will change while your children are on board and have taken this course of action to err on the side of caution.

Dryden High School remains open and classes will run as regularly scheduled. Please use care and caution when travelling to DHS today.
