Morning Announcements – December 2nd, 2011

Dec.2 – 5 Attention Reading Eagles:  It’s almost time – start up meeting for White Pine is Monday, December 5th at 11:30 in the library.  Bring your lunch.
Dec. 2 The Vermilion Bay & Area Kinette Club would like to invite staff and students to their Annual Christmas Parade.  It will be on Dec. 3rd at approx. 3:00 p.m. after the CPR Holiday train from 1:30 – 2:15.  If you would like to enter a float in the parade, registration forms will be available in the Messenger and at the Bayview Hotel.  For more information, come to the main office.
Dec. 2 A rep from Con College will be at DHS on Dec. 6.  Please sign up in the guidance office if you would like to attend the presentation.
Dec. 2 Sunset Country Heritage Music Association is still in need of volunteers to help serve food & help with clean up for their Christmas dinner & dance @ the Legion on Saturday, December 3rd from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Contact Mervin @ 216-8319
Dec. 2 Grade 12 students are encouraged to check out the high school website for the latest scholarships and bursaries.  Stop by the guidance office for more information.
Dec. 2 Grade 12 students applying to universities and colleges outside of Ontario, MUST let the guidance office know, or transcripts will not be sent.

Morning Announcements – Dec. 1st, 2011

Dec. 1 The Air Command Band kicked off Christmas last night with a bang.  Thank you Music Association.  You were on fire!

Nov. 24 – Dec.1 Cheerleading photos will be taken today at lunch.  Meet in the big gym.
