Boys Hockey vs. Fort Frances

It took a period of O.T and a shootout, but the Fort Frances Muskies eventually came out on top in tonights game at the Dryden Memorial Arena.

Richie Callaewart and Tyler Kirouac found the net for the Eagles in the first, both assisted by Kale Kuzemchuk. The Eagles headed into the second with a 2-0 hockey game.

Jared Stratford assisted by Cody Kaus and Corbin Gervasi assisted by Kale Kuzemchuk both added markers in the second.

The Muskies fought back to tie the game at four in the end of regulation.

The 4 on 4 overtime saw good chances but remained scoreless, sending the game to a three man shootout.

The Muskies were able to outshoot the Eagles and headed back to Fort Frances with another win in hand.

Feb. 1 Attention Cheerleaders – February schedules for cheerleaders can be picked up in the main office.
Feb. 1 The 1st Annual Kids Northern Lights Karaoke Contest will take place on February 6, 2011.  Registration & practice will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Contest will be from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  Registration fee is 3:00 per child, per week to qualify for the semi-finals.  Each Sunday afternoon family and friends will vote 2 kids for each category.  For more information look for posters in the school or the web site is KNLkaraoke contest @hotmail.ca
